I honestly forgot I ordered this one.
Turboslash's 2020 album was one of the first synthwave albums I got on wax. While I loved it then the music hasn't aged well with me. The same thing is true with Ions.
This album is pretty standard synthwave. The songs have some interesting moments in them, but they are also balanced out by rather generic moments. The music is well executed but there just isn't anything here to truly grab my attention and hold it.
I'll keep it around for a while and likely revisit in the future to see if it grows on me. For the time being however this is simply an album that exists.
