Entry 056 - Street Cleaner - Edge

 

There are artists that I keep in my collection for a specific sound. Its not a need that hits very often, but when that itch comes you know exactly what it is that will fit the need.

Street Cleaner is one of those artists. When I want hard driving synthwave that channels a cyberpunk vibe better than anyone else my go to is Street Cleaner.

This dude knows how to write a hard driving song. The bass here is so prominent its felt as much as heard. The synths have a dark and gritty tone to them that just ooze dystopian vibes. This along side the odd guitar riff, gives the song a dirty and grimy feel - and I love it.

The music doesn't require multiple listens "get" - it communicates its point across quickly and effectively. Its here to kick ass and take names, nothing more/nothing less.
