Primary Emotions/Themes: Kuroi Ame's dynamic song writing with the profound atmosphere of 輕描淡寫
Thoughts: This is it. The final entry before I move to finish out my boxed sets. It couldn't have ended on a better album.
To say that I was excited about this album when it was announced was probably an understatement. 輕描淡寫 had only ever released the one album to my knowledge and to hear that she was teaming up with Kuroi Ame made me excited beyond belief. My hopes for the album were massive, but also so was my fear. Could it live up to the legacy set by both artists? Yes it can.
These six tracks blew me away the first time I heard them. They blow me away still. They combine the sense of profoundness that 輕描淡寫 brings but also makes it more active with melodies and beats injected by Kuroi Ame. Add in some longing vocals by Currentmoodgirl and you have an absolutely phenomenal album.
This isn't an album I'm going to try and quantify in words. It simply must be heard in order to be understood. Absolutely essential listening.
