Style: ambient
Primary Emotions/Themes: a sonic exploration of different textures and emotions
Thoughts: What is music? What do we consider music and what do we consider noise? Where is that line drawn? Those are questions that Wounds and Formats explore on Haustorium.
These discoveries of sound tread the line between random explosions of sound and melodic excursions. They often clash and end up creating music that is often a bit obtuse and honestly hard to digest. This is not easy listening, rather it's like were listening to an experimental artists musical thesis.
Haustorium is a fascinating album. When I want something to envelop and give my brain something to dissect, this is the type of album I put on. In days like we are currently living a distraction like this is very welcome.
