Thoughts: I think I may have had one of the most difficult days of my adult life. I can't remember a day when I felt more drained and defeated after. All I want to do is stare into oblivion for an unspecified amount of time, something where my brain and body are not required to do anything. No thinking. No moving. Nothing. This is the kind of day that ダウンタンブルと死にますwas made for.
I would normally go into detail about what the music entails, what emotions it evokes and all of that good stuff. Today though I don't have it in me. Today I need to just vibe because life fucked me up the ass through the pants. I need to turn my brain off and just listen.
This is where Haircuts for Men comes in. This dude knows how to construct chill music, probably better than anyone else. He's certainly doing it for longer than anyone else in the vapor field. It's the kind of music that simply grooves and vibes. Exactly what I need. No huge deep meaning, nothing to really dig into, just chill relaxed beats that help massage my brain.
Haircuts for men is part of my collection that I don't think I'll ever move on from. He meets a very specific need in the collection that very few artists have been able to scratch. Hopefully I don't need this kind of music often, but when I do I know where to turn.
