Primary Emotions/Themes: Vikings and their kin
Thoughts: How much praise can one band get? With a band like Arstidir Lifsins it's never enough. These guys are one of the strongest bands in all of metal right now and they have yet to release anything less of absolutely stellar.
At this point there isn't much more that I can say about these guys that I haven't said before. Their music is near perfection with every release and Hermalausaz is no different. These two songs are immaculately crafted, flawlessly performed... the band is simply without equal right now.
My previous entries for this band have been long winded, so here we'll do the opposite. This album, this band, this experience is of the highest quality possible within the metal genre. Absolutely essential listening.
