Style: video game music, dark ambient, southern rock
Primary Emotions/Themes: life that is taken from us prematurely is often praised too much. Sometimes we deserve to die before we’re meant to
Thoughts: What would you do if you were driving in the Texas desert, low on gas, the heat peeling the skin off your face, and you came across a lonely house? Would you go in to get some rest from the shade? Would you risk leaving your car out in the heat? Would you venture the unknown that may be in that house?
This is the question that the music on Remnants asks. What would you do in this desperate situation? A lonely southern guitar reaches out with its somber melody, beckoning the driver into the house. A frightening scream of a violin calls into question the wisdom of such a decision. You can’t think too long, you either need to keep going or stop the car you’re almost out of gas. What do you do… what indeed do you do…?
